The liquid substances mercury (density 13.6 {\rm g}/{\rm mL}), water (1.00 {\rm g}/{\rm mL}), and cyclohexane (0.778 {\rm g}/{\rm mL}) do not form a solution when mixed, but separate in distinct layers. List how the liquids would position themselves in a test tube.
Rank the liquids from the top of the tube to the bottom.
