Net ionic equation problem? Cu(NO3)2 + 2NaOH --> 2Na NO3.?

Cu(NO3)2 + 2NaOH --> 2NaNO3 + Cu(OH)2

Cu(NO3)2, NaOH, and NaNO3 are aqueous compounds. Cu(OH)2 is a solid.

write out the equation with dissociation (aqueous compounds dissociate into ions, precipitates/solids do not):
Cu2+ + 2NO3- + 2Na+ + 2OH- --> 2Na+ + 2NO3- + Cu(OH)2

cancel ions that appear on both sides of the equation:
Cu2+ + 2OH- --> Cu(OH)2
